Due to the demand of copper globally, most sellers are prioritising buyers who can purchase by T/T (MT103), this is the most simple, and safe way to purchase. An LOI (letter of intent) is sent by the 'buyer' to us, confirming the amount (in metric tonnes) you wish to purchase, we will then engage a seller to confirm stock and lead times. From this we will send you a FCO (full corporate offer) which will set out everything in the deal, including location, cost, payment terms, origin of goods, specification sheets and location for viewing. Once all parties are agreeable we will raise a S.P.A (Sales and Purchasing agreement) an internationally recognised document for both parties to sign, on signing Jack, or Mike will confirm when goods will be ready for viewing. Together, our agents and the buyer meet on site to view goods, the buyer, supported by us will instruct SGS testing to ensure the goods meet those set out in the specification sheet supplied within the FCO. Once the SGS confirms this, payment is made to us by T/T to secure your goods, depending on type of transaction you desire (LC on site, FOB, FOT, CiF, EXw) the documentation is presented to allow goods to be move from the warehouse to your port of choice. Please note* we can accommodate most shipping terms and can guide you through all processes, EX-works is the simplest and safest process we use. What is Exw? EXW (Ex Works) means the seller makes the goods available at their premises (factory, warehouse, etc) and the buyer is responsible for all costs and risks involved in transporting the goods to the final destination. This eliminates any uncertainly on where the goods might go after payment or contract discrepancies we see so often in our industry.
